If a part has “SD” listed after it’s "sku" number that means it came from returned or display merchandise, or a scratch and dent piece of equipment. Scratch and Dent has several meanings and come to us from multiple sources. We purchase hundreds of damaged units, which may have bent frames or broken pieces. The manufacturer has decided that the unit needs to be destroyed and it is not saleable. For example, we get a treadmill that has been dropped and the frame is bent but it may have never made it into a consumer’s home. We will remove the motor, rollers, belts, console and so on. These parts cannot be considered new since they have been installed and gone through a QC test before being shipped. By the same token, they are not really used either since no one ever used the equipment. Could we sell them as new? Probably but we don’t and won’t. Another example is when a manufacturer may have sold an elliptical on-line. The web is becoming the number one place where consumers are purchasing exercise equipment. Once the customer receives and uses it for a week they decide that they don’t like it, it doesn’t work correctly or it’s not what they expected. It’s possible that the manufacturer will decide to exchange the equipment. They don’t usually want to pay to ship the elliptical back to the factory so it’s cheaper for them to just have us pick it up and destroy it. We may make a deal with the company regarding a cheaper install price on the replacement elliptical so that we get the old elliptical that they are discarding. That is where we come in. We destroy the unit after we have removed the “like” new and very usable parts.

If you see a “U” after the “sku” number, it means the part is used. We get used exercise equipment trade-in’s that allow us to utilize all the working parts. Some of the used equipment may only be months old. All used parts are checked for quality before shipping. We will also list what is wrong or defective about the part so that you will know before purchasing the part. For example you may see a console for sale on our site and it’s listed at ½ the price of a new one. Good deal? No GREAT deal. But the reason we got the console was because the pulse does not work. Well if that function is not important to you and you are saving money it works for both of us.

Lastly, if you see an “R” after a part “sku” number that means it is a rebuilt part. This would mainly refer to electronic parts. We have taken a used, non functioning part and rebuilt it ourselves, or had one of our many vendors rebuild the part. These parts will generally sell for a fraction of what the new part would sell for. Once again a good deal for both of us.

What you see is what you get. We don't sell knock off’s or cheap imitations of the originals. Our parts are all OEM parts. If you have ever tried to work with “knock off” parts like walking belts, you may have experienced problems with a serpentine motion (left to right) as we have. Inexpensive belts may not have been sown together correctly. This has made us strive to only offer the highest quality OEM parts.

What we don’t sell is nuts, bolts, screws or plastic non-functional parts. The parts we list are functional parts that keep your exercise equipment working.
