Treadmill Motor belt 245650 8PJ470 . This is a special belt. If you have one of the models listed here and you are having a problem with the treadmill shutting down, this may be the belt you will need to replace the old motor belt with. The old motor belt may be to long and when you are running on the treadmill the idler arm that is spring loaded may be making the belt hit in both directions. Meaning that the belt is being squeezed so tight that the forward and backward motion are rubbing against each other. When you remove the motor hood (this is checking the present motor belt) check to see how much space is between the gap in the belt while the idler arm is loaded. If it is less than an inch. Than you may want to replace the old belt with this one. Some models affected NTL1075,10805,10905,12905 and some sears models as well.
